Services
Six services, one licensed crew.
Everything below is work we do ourselves, not work we hand to a subcontractor. Each one starts with a look at your panel, because that is where most of the answers are.

Panel Upgrades
Old service panels run out of room long before the house does. We swap them for a modern load center with the capacity for everything you plug in now, plus the circuits you will add next.
- 100 to 200 amp service upgrades with a new meter base
- Replacement of recalled and obsolete panel brands
- Every circuit traced and relabeled before we close the cover
- Permit pulled and the inspection scheduled for you

EV Charger Installation
A charger is only as good as the circuit behind it. We run the load calculation first, then install a dedicated 240 volt line that charges at full speed without nuisance trips.
- Load calculation before we quote, so the panel can carry it
- Level 2 chargers hardwired or on a NEMA 14-50 receptacle
- Conduit run tight to the wall on the garage or driveway side
- Permit, inspection and utility paperwork handled for you

Lighting & Ceiling Fans
Lighting is the change people notice first. We plan the layout, cut clean, and match the dimmer to the fixture so nothing hums, flickers or wobbles.
- Recessed LED retrofits and new can layouts
- Pendant, chandelier and track lighting installs
- Ceiling fans braced to a fan rated box, never a light box
- Dimmers matched to the fixture so nothing buzzes

Outlets, Switches & Wiring
Extension cords across the floor usually mean a circuit is missing. We add the outlets and dedicated lines where you actually use power, and bring the protection up to current code while we are in the wall.
- GFCI and AFCI protection wherever code requires it
- Dedicated circuits for kitchens, shops and home offices
- Smart switches, USB receptacles and three way corrections
- Aluminum branch wiring pigtailed with approved connectors

Troubleshooting & Repairs
Most electrical faults are one loose connection hiding behind a wall plate. We test our way to it instead of guessing, then fix the cause rather than resetting the symptom.
- Dead circuits traced back to the actual loose connection
- Thermal check across the panel, main lugs and busbar
- Scorched receptacles and back-stabbed devices replaced
- Same-day slots held open every weekday morning

Generator & Surge Protection
Storms take the grid down and bring it back hard. Backup power keeps the furnace and the fridge going, and whole house surge protection keeps the return spike out of your electronics.
- Standby generator wiring and automatic transfer switches
- Interlock kits for safe portable generator hookups
- Type 2 whole house surge protective devices at the panel
- Point of use protection for the office and media wall
Good to know
Questions we get most.
Something else on your mind? Call (555) 555-0123. A real person picks up during business hours.
- Do you pull the permit, or do I?
- We do. Anything that changes the service, adds a circuit or moves a panel gets a permit in our name, and we meet the inspector ourselves so you are not stuck waiting at home.
- How much does a panel upgrade cost?
- It depends on the amperage, the meter base and how far the service run is. We look at all three, then send a fixed written price that includes the permit fee and the utility coordination.
- Can you work around a finished basement?
- Usually, yes. We fish walls and use existing chases wherever we can. If a section has to be opened, we show you exactly where before we cut anything.
- What counts as an emergency?
- Burning smells, a hot panel, sparking outlets or a total loss of power on one leg. Call, do not email, and say it is urgent. We keep morning slots open for exactly these.
Not sure which one you need?
Describe what the house is doing and we’ll tell you which of these it is, and roughly what it runs.
